The beginning
I started making cards when I was in high school. It was something to do with my mom. It was just starting to become popular, and we loved learning new techniques together. I remember going to new stores as they opened up in the Austin area. I remember when we first learned about embossing. We were so excited to buy the stamps and the right ink and the embossing powder. We used our toaster as the heat source at first. Here I am some 35 years later, and I probably make cards every day. My style has definitely changed. I love learning new techniques. And since meeting Karen burniston, my favorite types of cards are pop ups. This is my forum to share my cards and to keep a list going of the cards I make.
